5 Celebrities With Psoriasis

Believe it or not, there are some celebrities who seem perfect that aren’t as perfect as you may think. Gorgeous shiny hair? Flawless makeup? Yes, but things aren’t always as they appear. Over 7.5 million Americans suffer from psoriasis, which is a skin condition that causes blotches on skin, ruddy scaly patches and plaques and celebrities are not excluded from these stats. Kim Kardashian recently revealed via her show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” that she has the disease.

What other celebrities have psoriasis?

Check out a list below!

2. STACY LONDON: Stacy is one of the most honest fashionistas out there who isn’t afraid to tell people when their fashion ensembles aren’t up to par, but while Stacy fights off fashion disasters she is also fighting psoriasis!

3. JERRY MATHERS: Even though he was famous for his “Beaver” Cleaver role on Leave It To Beaver, Mr. Mathers has been fighting the disease for much of his life. Of his condition, Mathers said, “My psoriasis isn’t that severe, but it has been a source of embarrassment.”

4. CARIDEE ENGLISH: One of the things I loved about Caridee English on 2006′s Americas Next Top Model was that (not only because she is from the same hometown as me) she wasn’t afraid to show the world that even though she is beautiful she suffers from psoriasis. Since her win she has been active with the National Psoriasis Foundation AND she even posed in a national campaign WITH a bad flare up of her skin disease.

5. LEANN RIMES: Since she was just two years old, Country crooner LeAnn Rimes has suffered from this disease since she was just two years old.
