We just got news that Justin Bieber graduated from high school this week and big congrats on him for that! Believe me, there are quite a few celebrities that actually haven’t graduated from high school. They’d rather roll around in their money and talk like idiots than get an education. You hear about celebs doing their homework while on the road promoting their album or movie but you don’t always hear of celebrities getting their diploma. Here are a 5 celebs who never did graduate from high school.

1. Paris Hilton

She emerged onto the scene as a socialite who (kind of) achieved some sort of celebrity of her own. A sex tape led to a reality show which led to…well, the Paris Hilton Brand. During her junior year of high school, Paris is said to have dropped out. Shocker. But, rumor has it she did get her GED.

2. Avril Lavigne:

She’s good at putting lyrics together, but that doesn’t mean she’s intelligent. When she was in the 11th grade, Lavigne was offered a recording contract and with that, she dropped out of her high school in Ontario, Canada and never went back. During an interview with Barbara Walters, Babs said that she could still go back to school and Avril said, “Um, yeah no that’s okay.” She did eventually get her GED.

3. Britney Spears:

Britney Spears also dropped out of high school to pursue a music career. She was attending Kentwood High school in Louisiana before she dropped out. There is no word as to whether Brit actually did get a GED. With some of her life decisions, we have to really wonder.

4. Jessica Simpson:

Jessica Simpson had a great high school life. She was popular. She was pretty. She was nominated homecoming queen for TWO years in a row AND she was a cheerleader. But it was in 1997 that Jess is said to have dropped out of high school to pursue her music career. Simpson did eventually earn her GED, but it took life experiences (and a smart ex-husband) to teach her the difference between chicken and tuna.

5. Lindsay Lohan:

Lindsay Lohan was in eleventh grade when she dropped out of high school. Did Marilyn Monroe drop out of high school? Just wondering because Lilo does think she is Marilyn. Lohan was quoted as saying, “Life is full of risks anyway, why not take them?” Lilo has definitely taken many risks without caring about the consequences. Exhibit A here. Exhibit B here.
