‘American Horror Story’ Season 10 & ‘American Horror Stories’ Get 2021 Dates

While last year’s Coronavirus pandemic definitely had an impact on the production of American Horror Story Season 10, things are back on track. What’s more, an American Horror Story spin-off titled American Horror Stories is also on the way. This means fans will get a double dosage of the beloved franchise. And, according to a new announcement, the next season of American Horror Story and its spin-off will have release dates due this year.

Specifically, according to Deadline, fans can expect American Horror Stories to actually be available on FX this July. Meanwhile, American Horror Story: Double Feature will be available on FX in the Fall. Specifically, it looks like the final episode of the season will actually hit on Halloween. As noted in the statement:

“Landgraf revealed that American Horror Stories, the spinoff of FX’s long-running American Horror Story series, will bow on Hulu in July, kicking off a slate new scripted titles. The weekly anthology series will spotlight a different horror story each episode. American Horror Story Season 10, which Ryan Murphy officially titled Double Feature, will follow its spinoff. The 10-episode season will air on FX and will conclude on Halloween, Landgraf shared.”

We still don’t know much about the upcoming spin-off American Horror Stories other than it will contain 16 self-contained one-hour long episodes. It’s also been stated that several series stars will make appearances in the series. On that note, there are some cast details available for the tenth season of American Horror Story, American Horror Story: Double Feature. The cast includes Macaulay Culkin, Leslie Grossman, and Kathy Bates, along with Sarah Paulson, the aforementioned Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross and Finn Wittrock. Hopefully we’ll know more about American Horror Stories in the near future too. As such, stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates on American Horror Story as we have them – especially as the release dates near.
